O-Rings ~ Oil Seals ~ Custom Molded Rubber and Plastics ~ PTFE Products
Rotary Shaft Seals, Oil Seals, Shaft Seals, Grease Seals, Radial Lip Seals...whatever you may call them, they are used to keep oil and grease in, and dirt and other contaminates out. Whether retaining vital fluids or lubricants, confining pressure, excluding contaminates, or a combination thereof, the correct seal can play a critical role in protecting and extending the life of a broad range of rotary equipment. Rotary Seals were made to prevent the penetration of dirt and water with the objection to extend the lifetime of parts and performance. Used for applications with rotating movement to keep liquid lubricants in place. There are many Rotary Seals such as Oil Seals, which are the most frequently used, V-Rings, Axial Seals, Radial Seals, and Shaft Repair Sleeves. Available in diameters up to 1500 mm and with high temperature resistance steady movement is great even at low velocities. We supply in both inch and metric sizes. Call today and speak with one our experienced agents and we can help with any material questions.
Oil Seals (also known as rotary shaft seal or grease seal) are one of the most frequently used Rotary Seals. Oils Seals help to fill in the gap between moving and stationary components when using mechanical equipment. Used to keep oil and grease in, and dirt and other contaminates out. Whether retaining vital fluids or lubricants, confining pressure, excluding contaminates, or a combination thereof, the correct seal can play a critical role in protecting and extending the life of a broad range of rotary equipment. If you need inch, metric, or a custom seal design we got you covered.
0 V-Rings are a one-piece seal mounted on a shaft that helps seal axially against a counter face that normally rotates with the shaft. Made of rubber V-Rings require a dynamic seal. These seals rotate with the shaft. Between the counter face and lip is were the sealing occurs. Helps against liquids, oils, dirt, greases, snad, and protects the main seal. V-Rings are flexible and made to stretch onto the shaft and rotate with the shaft.
Gamma Seals, also known as Axial Seals, Flingers, Deflector Rings, or Axial Rings are used for hydraulic and transmission system applications. Gamma Seals are made to keep contaminants out of the oil seals with metal casing for protection. Gamma Seals also have a 80 durometer nitrile sealing lip. With smooth and simple installation Gamma Seals give you reduced resistance. These seals come in 2 style variations; RB and 9RB.
Radial Shaft Seals, also known as lip seals, are used for sealing rotary elements. Common elastomers are FKM, ACM, HNBR, AEM, and NBR. The compounds typical durometer is 70 to 85. Radial Seal applications can be simple designs, high heat, single lip, or more technical designs. Either way leave it up to our engineers to solve the problem.
Shaft Repair Sleeves (SRS) are stainless steel engineered to extend the life of damaged shafts and yokes with a new sealing surface. These new sealing techniques are just as reliable as the original. Shaft Repair Sleeves are a great alternative from spending lots of money on equipment or new parts when things go wrong. Typically used in the Agricultural, Automotive, Transportation, and Construction industries. Wherever there is a radial shaft seal you can use a Shaft Repair Sleeve.
