X-Rings are most commonly used in reciprocating applications but used in both static and dynamic applications. Offering reduced friction your standard grooves will be deeper than that of an O-Ring. One advantage with the X-Rings are the ability to provide resistance to circular failure. X-Rings have four lips which help with more capacity for sealing. X-Rings ID and Cross-Section are measured the same as O-Rings both Standard AS568 sizes and Metric.
